As a highly qualified and experienced psychotherapist, Franca has a unique and effective way of using counselling, she blends Psychology, Systemic Therapy, Brief Therapy, Cognitive Therapy, Hypnotherapy and EFT.
Franca will encourage you to speak about yourself and your concerns at a pace which is manageable to you. There is not a right or a wrong way of doing this. You may have a very clear idea of what you want to talk about or you may be feeling confused and anxious, perhaps not sure what it is that is troubling you.
Franca will listen attentively to what you are saying in order to understand how you are experiencing your world and what is happening to you. She will not tell you what to do, but can help you explore some of the options open to you and you might decide you want to change something about yourself or your situation.

How can hypnotherapy help you?
In hypnotherapy you are guided into hypnosis to work at the subconscious level for therapeutic purposes. Hypnosis can be described as a state of relaxation, concentration and heightened awareness. In this state, your mind can function much more efficiently and effectively.
Hypnotherapy allows us to look at problems differently and leads us to discover solutions and new approaches. Also, outdated and inappropriate patterns of behaviour can be dropped, in favour of new and more rewarding ways of being.

The Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a psychological version of acupressure, incorporating methods form Ancient Chinese Medicine.
